The region likes Bosc and Anjou. Interest continues, but size and pricing play an important role.

The region currently has Argentina as the dominant supplier, as well as early fruit from Chile. Some local fruit is also available.
Political or Economic Issues Impacting Imports, Retail, or Consumer Behavior:
Peru continues to struggle with its political scenario. Elections are in 2026 and there are questions about the current president and whether she will run for reelection. The economy and social status are of attention. Ecuador has just reelected its president and the socio-economic pressures continue. The country continues to have issues with crime and recently had some severe weather events that harmed parts of the country.

Peru has a new port to celebrate. The Chancay port is expected to take lots of the region's volume targeting Asia.
