Update on the Competition in the Market:

Old crop Argentinean fruit stayed on the market the whole year, mostly Packham and some Green Anjou.

Political or Economic Issues Impacting Imports, Retail, or Consumer Behavior:

The region continues to struggle with political issues, as well as economic and social. Less in Peru, but the country is still in recovery mode since COVID-19. The weather is affecting the country's agricultural output, export capability and harming the economy as well. Ecuador will have a presidential election during 2025, though critics doubt that it will bring any improvements that will benefit the long term social economics of the nation.
